About me

A medical doctor by background, I am an experienced healthcare leader and director in the healthcare and technology industries, working at the intersection of clinical, commercial and technology fields. I have expertise in leading the design, implementation and commercialisation of digital health solutions, and supporting healthcare organisations with service and digital transformation. I hold a particular interest in the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in healthcare. I have built, led and managed global cross-functional teams and worked in the UK NHS and across international healthcare systems for global healthcare and technology organisations.

In my current role as an Associate Partner for Healthcare at IBM, I am responsible for working with healthcare clients to tackle complex problems and transform the healthcare experience leveraging IBM's technology capabilities in AI, Analytics, Hybrid-Cloud and Blockchain, and consulting services expertise.

I am the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Doctorpreneurs, a not-for-profit organisation and one of the world's first and largest communities for medical innovators and entrepreneurs. I provide independent digital health advisory services to startups, VCs, corporates, and accelerators. I am also a Fellow at the UK Faculty of Clinical Informatics.

Prior to joining IBM, I have been a practising medical doctor and have held roles as the Clinical Lead for Digital Health at Bupa, an international healthcare insurance and provider organisation, and as a Clinical Fellow to the NHS National Medical Director.
